i think there's a blockage due to crud accumulating in either
the nozzle or the tubes.. so since the left nozzle is stuck, the
pressure goes to the middle one which shoots over the
windscreen..
the right one is still okay 
What kind of washer fluid do you use? Plain old tap water or
windex? The hubster's Elantra has kinda the same problem too. We
have hard water here so sooner or later things get clogged if you
don't clean it. So we have to use distilled water to fill the water
chamber in the iron, steam mop, etc. Maybe one day I'll install a
soft water system...
